About the Founder

Abhinav Avvaru is currently a junior in Nashua High School South. After several experiences where he saw students vaping in middle school, Abhinav realized that vaping was a big issue, particularly in school-age students. Abhinav began to research vaping and is an avid advocate regarding vape usage in school-age students. He has given a talk at the TEDxChelsmfordHS event and gave an assembly at a local middle school, World Academy. He also created a vape detection device that won him first place overall in the New Hampshire Science and Engineering Expo (NHSEE) and lead him in being named a Regeneron ISEF finalist. Abhinav enjoys playing tennis and piano in his free time. He is an active member of the community as the captain of the Nashua South tennis team, the president of the NHSEE club, vice president of Innovations Club, a member of the math team, and a part of his grade's Class Council.
